Young people that attend the Silver City Church are supported by
the Silver City Mentoring program. Christians from around the city volunteer one
evening of their week during the school year to work one-on-one with a teen or pre-teen.
A typical evening will include working an interactive Bible study,
working on a craft, and helping your partner learn and recite a memory verse. Meetings are in a large room,
group setting. Sessions last from 70 to 90 minutes. Every fifth week you and
your partner will go on a faithfulness trip (fast food, bowling, etc...) with other
mentoring program members. The fall of 2006 has brought about a change to
our program as we are now offering a completely different program for our young
people in the 9th through 12th grades. This program is called A Cut

Mentoring Program Details
Meets the Gardner Methodist Church at 1723 Schaer St. in North Little Rock.
Meeting times are 4:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. on Mondays or Tuesdays.
